What started as humble effort to explore the export market for natural casings about twenty five years ago was not a spontaneous urge; it was backed by an experience of production for at least two generations. As the consumption of sheep casings in domestic market of Pakistan is negligible, the commodity is exclusively & competitively meant for exports in the international market. Hence all the parameter of production and quality are determined by the international buyers; and UCC being highly quality conscious has been keeping itself aware of the existing standards as well as new international development waiting in the quality & food safety pipeline. So the growth in our production capabilities and processing of raw material has always been quite smooth, natural as well as fully synchronous to changes towards modern developments. No doubt it has lead to stricter controls at UCC to meet the latest international standard.

The only habit that we have acquired during these decades of struggle is the habit of adaptability according to the requirements of the prevailing and emerging market trends. It is much more difficult than to remain firm on echelons of success after getting there once.

Our aforesaid attempts are least but not the last, as instead of focusing on sale of maximum quantity of merchandise, we firmly believe in establishing life long relations with our clients & patrons for which we are always prepared to go an extra mile.

In Pakistan most of the livestock particularly the sheep and goats are still reared in natural environment so their chances of attracting artificial feed related diseases remain generally out of bound.
